Rusty Speidel
Our Music in the Mountains series kicks off with Rusty Speidel! Rusty is one of the founding members of Speidel Goodrich Goggin and Lille, who have been selling out shows all along the east coast for almost 30 years. He is also an accomplished session musician, producer, and arranger, and has been involved in over 15 albums and hundreds of sessions. He has also worked with many regional and national acts such as Ellis Paul, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jon Carroll, Dave Navarro, EFO, John Pousette-Dart, Martin Sexton, and Sugarland.

Tara Mills Band
Featuring the Tara Mills Band. Inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the rich musical traditions tied to them, Tara Mills describes her music as, ”Original mountain Americana;” an original blend of folk, bluegrass, and Americana.

WanderLove is calling – and adventure is the destination. Reconnect with what you love this summer on an epic Virginia road trip to Nelson County.

WanderLove is a Virginia Tourism Corporation campaign that will leverage Virginia’s many road trip adventures to inspire travel throughout the state this summer and fall. These road trips will also highlight outdoor recreation, hidden gems, small towns and Virginia’s unique “roadside attraction” – LOVEworks.

Nelson County is the perfect WanderLove Road Trip destination. Follow our suggested day trip itineraries or create your own!

Blue Mountain Barrel House: Visit us six days a week (Tuesday through Sunday) in the Barrel House tasting room with inside seating, ever-rotating draft beers and a cornucopia of bottled offerings, plus spacious outdoor seating with a fire pit and lawn games. We also serve signature Blue Mountain food from our food truck

Brent Manor Vineyards: Saturday 11-6 and Sunday 11-5. Reservations are required and may be made by calling/texting the Tasting Room at 434-826-0772. Only outdoor seating is permitted.  Curbside service is available.

Delfosse Vineyards & Winery: We are offering seated tastings by reservation only. Enjoy a selection of 9 of our wines and a Delfosse wine glass to take home, $15 per person. Call 434-263-6100 or email to reserve. Parties of 4 or less may use our tables inside the tasting room. Seating is very limited, so reservations are recommended. Our Tasting Room bar will be open for wine flight sales, select wines by the glass, and bottle sales only. We encourage use of our outdoor lawn and patio seating areas, as well as curbside pickup and shipping orders.

Lovingston Winery: Open Saturday-Sunday: 11am-5pm. Monday-Friday: By appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Reservations are highly recommended to ensure a table and space, although at this time they are not required. Free shipping 3+ bottles. Pickup at the winery: Indicate on your online order form that you want to pickup, and we will contact you to arrange the time that best suits you. Free delivery to Charlottesville, Albemarle and Nelson Counties. Indicate “Pickup” on your online order form and note in the “Gift Card Note” on the purchase page that you would like delivery rather than pickup.

Mountain Cove Vineyards: Wednesday-Sunday 12pm to 6pm. Tastings outside for groups up to 10.

Virginia Distillery Company: We have decided to pause Visitors Center operations until at least September. Whisky production is in motion and we are shipping whisky and you may order online or by calling the distillery.
